Open Graph

A protocol that controls how web pages appear when shared on social media.

Open Graph (OG) is a protocol originally created by Facebook that enables any web page to become a rich object in a social graph. When a URL is shared on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Slack, Open Graph meta tags determine how the preview appears — including the title, description, and image. Correct Open Graph implementation is essential for professional social sharing appearances.
