Typography

The art of arranging type to make written language readable and visually appealing.

Typography in web design refers to the selection and arrangement of typefaces, sizes, line heights, letter spacing, and font weights to make text legible, readable, and visually compelling. Good typography improves readability, establishes brand personality, and guides users through content hierarchy. Key considerations include font pairing, optimal line length (50–75 characters), and system font vs. web font performance trade-offs.
